FAQs

General

What can I expect during my first appointment?

Your visit begins with a personalized consultation to understand your needs and goals. Whether it’s skincare, massage, or waxing, your service is always tailored to you.

How can I schedule a session?

Appointments can be booked directly through our online booking system. Have a question before booking? Feel free to reach out via email or Instagram DM.

What’s your cancellation and late arrival policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Arriving late may shorten your session or require a new appointment. Please review our full booking policies beforehand.

Do you offer gift cards or referral incentives?

Yes! Gift cards are available year-round — perfect for treating someone special. We also offer referral perks as a thank-you for spreading the word. Ask during your visit or check our social media for current promos.

Are your services suitable for all skin tones and types?

Absolutely. Every service is customized with your unique skin, body, and goals in mind. We use inclusive, professional-grade products and techniques for all skin tones and sensitivities.

Waxing

Do you work with teens or first-time clients

Yes! Whether it’s a first facial, first wax, or an intro to bodywork, we’ll walk you through every step to ensure a safe, comfortable experience.

How much hair growth is needed before waxing?

Hair should be about 1/4 inch long (roughly two weeks of growth) for the best results.

How long will my waxing results last?

Typically, you can expect smooth skin for 3 to 6 weeks depending on your hair growth cycle.

Is waxing safe during my period or pregnancy?

Yes! You can wax during your cycle—just wear a fresh tampon. Pregnant clients are welcome, and we’ll ensure your comfort throughout the service.

How should I prep my skin before waxing?

Clean, exfoliated skin with no lotions or oils gives the best results. This helps the wax adhere and removes hair more effectively.

What’s the best way to care for my skin after waxing?

Avoid hot showers, tight clothing, and direct sun for 24 hours. Moisturize regularly and exfoliate gently to prevent ingrown hairs.

Does waxing hurt? How can I reduce discomfort?

There may be some discomfort, especially if it’s your first time — but it’s quick and manageable. Exfoliating beforehand, avoiding caffeine, and staying hydrated can all help ease sensitivity.

How often should I get waxed?

For best results, most clients come every 4–6 weeks. Staying consistent helps reduce regrowth and makes waxing less uncomfortable over time.

Can I wax if I’ve recently tanned or plan to tan?

It’s best to avoid waxing within 24–48 hours before or after tanning (sun or spray) to prevent skin irritation or sensitivity.

Skincare

How do I choose the right facial for my skin?

During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin and recommend the best treatment based on your concerns and goals—whether you’re dealing with acne, dryness, sensitivity, or aging.

Do you offer treatments for acne, pigmentation, or wrinkles?

Yes. I specialize in corrective facials, including acne programs and anti-aging treatments that blend clinical-grade products with holistic care.

Is it okay to wear makeup after a facial?

For best results, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup so your skin can fully absorb the benefits of your treatment.

How often should I book facials?

Most clients benefit from facials every 4–6 weeks. If you’re treating specific concerns like acne, more frequent visits may be recommended initially.

Can facials improve signs of aging?

Definitely. Our anti-aging facials help boost collagen, improve elasticity, and smooth the look of fine lines for more youthful, radiant skin.

What does facial massage do for aging skin?

Facial massage enhances circulation, supports collagen production, and promotes lymphatic drainage — all of which help lift, tone, and refresh the skin naturally.

Can I get a facial while using retinol or acne medications?

It depends on the product. Let us know what you’re using during your consultation — we’ll either adjust your treatment or recommend the best timing to safely book your facial.

What kind of skincare do you use?

We use a blend of clean, clinical, and medical-grade products selected for their effectiveness and compatibility with your skin. Everything is chosen with intention to support your glow and long-term results.

Should I stop exfoliating before a facial?

Yes. Avoid exfoliating 48–72 hours before your appointment to prevent irritation — we’ll handle the deep cleansing and resurfacing during your treatment.

Massage

How do relaxation and therapeutic massage differ?

Relaxation massage focuses on calming the nervous system with light, soothing strokes. Therapeutic massage targets specific pain or tension using focused techniques like cupping, taping, or TENS therapy.

Is massage safe during pregnancy or injury recovery?

Yes, as long as it’s performed with proper care. We offer customized bodywork for prenatal and post-injury clients — just let us know any health considerations beforehand.

How often should I get a massage?

For stress relief, monthly sessions are a great reset. If you’re managing chronic pain or tightness, weekly or biweekly appointments may offer the most relief.

Will I feel sore after my massage?

It’s possible, especially after targeted therapeutic work. This is normal and usually fades within 24–48 hours. Staying hydrated and doing light stretching can help.

What if I feel emotional during or after a session?

Massage can release stored tension—physically and emotionally. It’s completely normal to feel emotional after a session, and you’re always held in a safe, supportive space here.

Can I combine massage with a facial, wax or massage?

Yes! Combo appointments are available for your convenience. If you’re unsure how to schedule or stack services, just reach out and we’ll help design the perfect self-care session. Please check out the Signature facial w Massage.
